Recently, \textit{A. M. Abouammoh, R. Ahmad} and \textit{A. Khalique} [Stat. Probab. Lett. 48, No. 2, 189-194 (2000; Zbl 0946.62089)] introduced the class of harmonic new renewal better than used in expectation distributions. The authors show that this class contains only the exponential distributions.
