This work is concerned with the solution of some axisymmetric problems in micropolar generalised thermoelasticity in which constitutive relations induce a finite speed of propagation for heat pulses. The theory was already present. The authors write only the field equations in cylindrical coordinates and consider the axisymmetric case. The resulting field equations are reduced to a system of eight first-order equations with constant coefficients after applying the Hankel transform to the radial variable and the Laplace transform to the time variable. The system is solved by the standard procedure. Then some particular boundary value problems are investigated. The inversions of integral transforms are performed numerically, and the results are displayed graphically.
