In [Math. Ann. 340, No. 4, 893--896 (2008; Zbl 1132.53023)], \textit{M. Fernández-López} and \textit{E. García-Río} proved a Myer-type diameter estimate when the Bakry-Émery Ricci tensor has a positive lower bound. In the present paper, the author has proved a new Myer-type diameter estimate in a complete connected Riemannian manifold where Bakry-Émery Ricci tensor has a positive lower bound. The result is sharper than previous Myer-type results.
