The authors study cardinal functions in lexicographic products of linear orders. In particular, they determine the value of the spread, density, character and weight of a lexicographic product of linear orders in terms of their value on each factor of such a product. Readers of this paper may also be interested in [\textit{A. Giarlotta}, Order 21, No. 1, 29--41 (2004, Zbl 1055.06002)], which in Section 4 contains a systematic study of the density and cellularity of a lexicographic product of linear orders.
