The paper reviews the generalized Kullback-Leibler divergence and high-order total variation in a proposed model for despeckling in ultrasound imaging. An alternating direction method with multipliers scheme is developed to solve the proposed model. Some numerical experiments of the proposed method on both synthetic images and real ultrasound images are presented to compare with three other speckle removal methods.
