Summary: We study Riesz means of the eigenvalues of the Heisenberg Laplacian with Dirichlet boundary conditions on bounded domains in \(\mathbb{R}^3\). We obtain an inequality with a sharp leading term and an additional lower order term, improving the result of \textit{A. M. Hansson} and \textit{A. Laptev} [Lond. Math. Soc. Lect. Note Ser. 354, 100--115 (2008; Zbl 1157.58008)].
