The authors present a wide review of fuzzy linear programming problems and techniques. The introductory Chapter 1 describes the basics of fuzzy sets, fuzzy arithmetic and fuzzy ranking methods. In Chapter 2, fuzzy linear programming is discussed, in particular, the various approaches of solving the fuzzy problems of five types (depending on the fuziness of chosen parameters) are described. In Chapter 3, the simplex-based methods are discussed, while in Chapter 4 the non-simplex based methods are presented. In Chapter 5, the authors investigate the fuzzy transportation problem. The book is a valuable position for both postgraduate students and researchers in the area of fuzzy linear programming.
