The authors investigate the existence of a positive periodic solutions for second-order nonlinear differential equations with attractive-repulsive singularities. A typical model is \[ x''=\frac {g(t)}{u^{\kappa_1}}-\frac {h(t)}{u^{\kappa_2}}=f(t). \] By using the properties of Green's function and Schauder's fixed point theorem, they show the existence of positive periodic solutions.
