Common fixed point theorems for probabilistic nearly densifying mappings (Q1668914)

Summary: The aim of this paper is to prove some coincidence and common fixed point theorems for probabilistic nearly densifying mappings in complete Menger spaces. Our results improve the results of \textit{K. P. Chamola} et al. [Math. Japon. 36, No. 4, 769--775 (1991; Zbl 0729.54033)], \textit{R. C. Dimri} and \textit{B. D. Pant} [J. Nat. Phys. Sci. 16, No. 1--2, 69--76 (2002; Zbl 1090.54508)], and \textit{B. D. Pant} et al. [Bull. Calcutta Math. Soc. 96, No. 3, 189--194 (2004; Zbl 1072.47052)] and extend the results of \textit{M. S. Khan} and \textit{Z. Q. Liu} [Turk. J. Math. 21, No. 3, 269--276 (1997; Zbl 0882.54036)] in the framework of probabilistic settings.
