New criteria to judge whether a tensor is (strictly) copositive or not are presented. Several necessary or sufficient conditions by taking advantage of the simplicial partition are researched. By the obtained criteria a detection algorithm for the copositive tensor is proposed. Numerical results from applying of the algorithm are given.
