The authors extend a previously proposed successive overrelaxation (SOR)-like iteration for nonsingular saddle point problems to singular, but consistent ones. They prove semi-convergence of the method and determine the optimal iteration parameters and the corresponding optimal semiconvergence factor for the new algorithm.
