The authors propose a parametrized upper and lower splitting method for symmetric nonsingular saddle point problems. They prove necessary and sufficient conditions for the convergence of their algorithm, under some additional assumptions on the saddle point system matrix. They also report numerical experiments and comparisons with other known iterations on a Stokes problem.
