The authors study the asymptotic behaviour of a planar, anisotropic curvature flow. They exploit the connection between solutions to elliptic partial differential equations and special solutions to parabolic equations and present in a new way the proof of the existence of smooth solutions to the planar \(L_p\)-Minkowski problem with \(0 < p < 1\).
