The author considers a discretization of an elliptic variational inequality with quasilinear operator. The non-overlapping domain decomposition technique is used in order to split into subproblems. To the resulting saddle point problem a block relaxation-Uzawa iterative method is applied. The existence of a solution to the saddle point problem and convergence of the iterative method are addressed as well.
