Free resolutions of Artinian compressed algebras (Q1693090)

Let $A$ be a standard graded Artinian algebra. When $A$ is compressed (i.e., its Hilbert function satisfies some property of genericity) a free resolution of $A$ is computed. This resolution is not in general minimal, but a procedure to reduce it to a minimal one is given. \par When $A$ is noncompressed the previous methods can be also applied (section 6), but it is much more difficult to find a minimal resolution. The authors illustrate this with some examples.
