The author introduces Clifford structures on vector bundles of Riemannian manifolds. The paper is self-contained and starts with a review of necessary algebraic concepts. Then the author introduces operations called derivations and linear connections in order to characterize their spaces on bundles which are compatible with the Clifford structure. The key idea is a new mapping called the Clifford conjugation.
