Various types of lattice-valued fuzzy filters are described. Using the transfer principle for fuzzy sets [\textit{M. Kondo} and \textit{W. A. Dudek}, Mathware Soft Comput. 12, No. 1, 41--55 (2005; Zbl 1081.03054)] all considered filters are defined by their level subsets and characterized by these levels.
