On multiple orthogonal polynomials for three Meixner measures (Q1701895)

The author studies the asymptotic properties of Meixner polynomials and their generalizations. He applies the technique of vector equilibrium problems, which has developed in logarithmic potential theory. This technique allows one to prove the existence and uniqueness of a solution to the equilibrium problem and then to derive the existence of a limit measure for the distribution of zeros of the external polynomials corresponding to this problem. He also applies classical asymptotic formulas for the scaled multiple orthogonal polynomials.
