A Lefschetz coincidence theorem for singular varieties (Q1710513)

The authors present a survey devoted to the Lefschetz fixed point and coincidence point formulas for maps on smooth manifolds and pseudomanifolds in the sense of M. Goresky and R. MacPherson, i.e., on \(n\)-dimensional piecewise linear polyhedra which admit a triangulation such that each \((n-1)\)-simplex is a face of exactly two \(n\)-simplices (see [\textit{M. Goresky} and \textit{R. MacPherson}, Comment. Math. Helv. 60, 366--391 (1985; Zbl 0602.55003)]). Some examples are given. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1392.58001].
