In this article, a class of ultraparabolic operators being of Kolmogorov type are studied by the Hamiltonian formalism. The authors explicitely calculate the geodesics which are induced by these operators. Additionally, the heat kernel of the Kolmogorov-type operators are derived in closed form using the theory of path integrals. This in turn means that several classical kernel formulas stated in the literature can be recovered by their method.
