In this paper, the authors solve the discretization problem for continuous frames. They obtain a characterization when a coherent state or continuous frame for a Hilbert space may be sampled to obtain a frame. Finally, the authors provide multiple applications to different classes of frames (scalable frames and Gabor frames).
