The author studies higher order soliton matrices for the Sasa-Satsuma equation \[ u_t+u_{xxx}+6|u|^2u_x+3u(|u|^2)_x=0 \] using the Riemann-Hilbert problem approach. The collision dynamics and the asymptotic behavior for the two solitons solutions are analyzed, and long time asymptotic estimations for the higher order one soliton solutions are calculated.
