This paper focusses on modified two-derivatives Runge-Kutta methods for the numerical integration of second-order oscillatory differential equations. Two three-stage methods of fifth algebraic order are constructed. The asymptotic expressions of the local errors for large energies of the new methods are obtained for the Schrödinger equation. Numerical experiments are presented.
