The authors construct a 1-parameter family of multiwavelets in dimension two for a hexagonal sampling lattice. These multiwavelets are associated with a Haar scaling function with scale factor three. In the Fourier domain, low and high pass filter matrices in parametric form for these multiwavelets are obtained. Reconstruction formulae associated with the multiwavelets are also derived.
