In this paper, by using convex-analytical techniques, a fractional optimal control problem is formulated and investigated. More precisely, using Riemann-Liouville and Caputo fractional derivatives, sufficient optimality conditions of Pontryagin's maximum principle type are established and proved for fractional-order systems. As well, in order to illustrate the theoretical results and their effectiveness, some examples are proposed.
