Surface bundles. Abstracts from the workshop held December 4--10, 2016 (Q1749551)

Summary: This workshop brought together specialists in algebraic topology, low dimensional topology, geometric group theory, algebraic geometry and neighboring fields. It provided a good overview of the current developments, and highlighted significant progress in the field. Furthermore it showed an increasing amount of interaction between specialists in different fields who are interested in the different facets of the rich theory of surface bundles.
