In this paper, the structure of the Cartan prolongation for the family of plane curves \(x_{1}x_{2} = t\) (with nodal central member) is investigated. In this direction, the monster/Semple tower construction is used. As well, in order to illustrate the theoretical results, some examples are proposed.
