Summary: The order of appearance \(z(n)\) of the positive integer \(n\) is the smallest positive integer \(k\) such that \(n\) divides \(F_k\), the \(k\)th member of the Fibonacci sequence. In this paper, we improve upon some results from \textit{D. Marques} [ibid. 2011, Article ID 407643, 4 p. (2011; Zbl 1314.11007)] concerning local minima of \(z(n)\).
