Summary: We extend results about primitive ideals in polynomial rings over nil rings originally proved by \textit{A. Smoktunowicz} [Algebr. Represent. Theory 8, No. 1, 69--73 (2005; Zbl 1078.16014)] for \(\sigma\)-primitive ideals in skew polynomial rings of automorphism type.
