The authors continue work by \textit{S. Albeverio} and \textit{W. Karwowski} [Stochastic Processes Appl. 53, No. 1, 1--22 (1994; Zbl 0810.60065)]. They give a modified method for the reconstruction of a random walk in the ring of \(p\)-adic integers, and obtain a ``subfamily of Albeverio and Karwowski's stochastic processes with a self-similar randomness''.
