Following a new notion of Knaster-Kuratowski-Mazurkiewicz (KKM) mappings, the authors obtain a generalized (KKM) type existence result on the solutions, applied for the Ky Fan minimax inequality and its section theorem, some variational relation problems and usual noncooperative \(n\)-person games. Reviewer's remark: This is an important research work which can be continued with proper numerical results.
