The author considers a finite Abelian group \(A\) and a finite group \(B\) and obtains necessary and sufficient conditions for the semicompleteness of their permutational wreath product \(W=A\wr_HB\). Previously [Algebra Colloq. 8, No. 4, 391-398 (2001; Zbl 1013.20023)] he obtained necessary and sufficient conditions for \(W\) to be semicomplete under the assumption (dropped this time) that the base subgroup of \(W\) is characteristic in \(W\).
