This paper considers the problem of the existence of a Lyapunov functional in the extended Lur'e form with a negative definite derivative that guarantees the robust absolute stability of a delay Lur'e control system with multiple nonlinearities in a bounded sector. The existence problem is converted to the problem of solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. A numerical example is presented to illustrate that the delay-dependent criteria thus obtained are less conservative than the delay-independent criteria.
