The dynamics of the hierarchical triple system with comparable masses, well-separated components and initially circular orbits is investigated. A technique for estimating the inner eccentricity is developed. In a previous paper the derivation was based on the assumption that the orbits of the three bodies were on the same plane. Now the derivation is extended to the more general case of non-coplanar orbits. The method of investigation does not change basically although more terms are included in the derivation of the short period equations to improve the accuracy of the model.
