The paper is devoted to the \(\varepsilon\)-insensitizing control problem for the 1-D heat equation with disjoint control and observation regions. It is mentioned that the problem is equivalent to an approximate controllability problem for a cascade linear system. With the help of the Fourier decomposition of the solutions of a special cascade systems, existence of an element \(\varepsilon\)-insensitizing a special form quadratic functional is established.
