Complaints and inequality (Q1767290)

The authors move beyond the Temkin suggestion [see \textit{L. S. Temkin}, Inequality, Oxford Ethics Ser., Oxford University Press, Oxford (1993)] about the nature of complaints and the way in which they may be aggregated in order to provide a rigorous analysis of a tape of inequality index and inequality literature. This is done by building a simple formal model of the income distribution based on axioms familiar to the distinctive Temkin approach.
