Let \(M\) and \(N\) be modules over a ring \(R\). The authors call \(N\) \(M\)-\(n\)-generated if it is a homomorphic image of \(M^n\), and call \(M\) quasi-\((m,n)\)-injective if each \(R\)-homomorphism from an \(M\)-\(n\)-generated submodule of \(M^m\) to \(M\) extends to one from \(M^m\) to \(M\). Characterization theorems are given for these new modules, which generalize known results.
