This is a correction of a previous paper by the authors [Algebra Univers. 40, 189--200 (1998; Zbl 0936.06003)] containing a weakened (and correct) version of their Theorem 4.5.: If \(\mathcal C\) is a continuous complete lattice then Con\((\mathcal C)\) is a sublattice of \(\mathcal J \text{Con}(\mathcal C)\).
