The author applies the ``gluing together'' techniques of \textit{R. G. Blumenthal} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 25, 343--346 (1970; Zbl 0195.41902)] to general non-local topological algebras and obtains several results on their maximal ideal spaces and Shilov, Bishop and Choquet boundaries (also for tensor products).
