The authors discuss the existence and nonexistence of a positive periodic solution for a class of nonautonomous nonlinear Duffing equations with time delay and variable coefficients. Based on the fixed-point method, several criteria are given for positive periodic solutions and the nonexistence of such solutions under given conditions.
