Let \(K\subset\mathbb R^2\) be a compact set, \(x\in K\), the visible part of \(K\) from the point \(x\) is defined by \[ K_x=\{u\in K\mid [x,u]\cap K=\{u\}\}, \] where \([x,u]\) denotes the closed line segment joining \(x\) to \(u\). The author gives some comments on two results concerning the relation of the Hausdorff dimension between \(K\) and \(K_x\) (the first published at 2003 and the second submitted at 2003). Then he poses three interesting open problems.
