This paper deals with the initial-boundary value problem for the system of motion equations of an incompressible viscoelastic medium ``with memory'' satisfying the Jeffreys constitutive law in an arbitrary domain of the two-dimensional or three-dimensional space. Existence and estimation of weak solutions of the initial boundary value problem for the Jeffreys model are obtained.
