The authors prove some results regarding the \(A\)-properness of the Dirac mass operator and the positive decomposition of \(A\)-proper operators. They describe a method of approximating arbitrary continuous operators by \(A\)-proper mappings and obtain a generalized Leray-Schauder principle. Finally, they establish the existence of approximate solutions for linear evolution equations in Banach spaces.
