The authors adapt the Lyapunov-based LMI approach to design the robust controller for the linear discrete 2-D system, to a case with random disturbances. They provide sufficient stability conditions for the cases with and without uncertainties, respectively, and also give a design procedure for the stabilising state feedback loop. A simple numerical illustrative example is provided too.
