The author considers the problem of finding a state reconstructor for the system \[ \dot{x} = Ax + Bu(t) \] based on the delayed outputs \[ y_i = Cx(t-ih)\;,\;i=1,\ldots,r. \] This problem has a solution provided all eigenvalues \(\lambda_k\) of the controllable subsystem satisfy \(h\Re \lambda_k<1\).
