For a linear system of the form \[ \dot x= Ax+ Bu+ f(t), \] the author aims to construct a control \(u= u(t, x)\) which realizes some prescribed stable motions \(x= x_j(t)\) \((j= 1,\dots,N)\). The sufficient conditions under which such a control exists are recalled. The proposed construction relies on the solution of a suitable optimization problem.
