Local properties of the first fundamental form for a surface in the Euclidean space \(E^{3}\), which fails to immerse on a small set, are obtained. Then the author finds local conditions on a singular analytic (0,2)-tensor so that there exists a 1-resolvable map which realizes the given tensor as a first fundamental form.
