The authors explain the discrete mathematics of tilings whose individual polygonal tiles are pairwise similar, and in which only finitely many (up to congruence) types of tiles occur. Their method (based on rooted trees) allows simplifications of known constructions of such tilings. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1392.05001].
