The authors prove that a suitable perturbation of the Calogero-Moser system is non-integrable. The presence of coupling terms in the Hamiltonian makes the system non-integrable. The method is inspired in a result obtained by Ziglin using the monodromy group of the linearization of the complex flow around particular solutions.
