A method, without utilizing iterations, for the construction of a surface passing through a number of discrete points is given. The method is based on the construction of a framework, as indicated by the author [ibid. 31, No. 8, 1251-1254 (1991; Zbl 0739.65004)] and after that utilizing linear interpolation, cf. the author [ibid. 29, No. 5, 780-783 (1989; Zbl 0706.65002)]. Numerical examples are included.
